Terms and Conditions

Children ages 6-15 can participate in The Art Academy’s Summer Camp for a duration of 1 (one) month or 2 (two) week programs.

All parents are required to read and explain to their children set of rules before the start of the respective program.

The language spoken at camp is English, so a basic knowledge is a pre-requisite. By accepting this Terms and Conditions you confirmability of your child to have sufficient language skills for participation in the Camp.

The director reserve the right, at our discretion, to withdraw any child whose influence or actions are deemed unsatisfactory, dangerous or incompatible to the class or who do not participate within the rules and policies of the Camp. If this occurs, no reduction or return of fee or any part thereof will be made. Parents will also be responsible for any extra costs associated with the dismissal. Parents agree to pay for property damage caused directly, or indirectly, as a result of negligent action of their child.

Children must maintain the highest standard of conduct at all times. Using profanity, disparaging dialogues, physical violence or threats during participation in The Summer Camp is strictly prohibited. The Art Academy rules and instructions of staff must be followed at all times.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you confirm the ability of your child to have sufficient language skills for participation in the Camp.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the parent confirms that his/her child has permission to participate in the camp programs.

By accepting this Terms and Conditions, parent confirms his/her acceptance that his/her child may be pictured/photographed and that such material can be used by The Art Academy for promotion or marketing purposes.

The copyright of all photography appearing on our brochures or websites belongs to the Art Academy. No reproduction may be made without prior permission from The Art Academy management.

In the event that parent cannot be reached in an emergency when a child is under The Art Academy supervision, by accepting this Terms and Condition, the parent gives permission to secure proper treatment needed for the child. Any medical, psychological or dietary needs must be made known to management prior to child’s enrolment. Please advise if medication is to be administered.

All your child’s personal belongings are their own responsibility.

Parents agree to support The Summer Camp Program by encouraging children to abide by the highest standards of positive conduct. They will discuss constructive concerns, if any, regarding The Summer Camp Program, trainers or staff behaviour or company policies with The Art Academy management.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The fee to be paid in full to confirm booking.

There will be no refunds once enroled in the camp unless on compassionate grounds. The Art Academy reserves the right to seek evidence or decide if the reason unfit to seek a refund.

There will be no refunds prior to 48 hours of the start of Camp.

A 25% fee will be charged for transfer of your registration from one session to another.

One may join mid-way during the camp provided there are seats and days available on the schedule.

Please understand that classes are based on meeting a minimum number of 12 registrations in order to run.

Full refunds will be made if a class is cancelled due to not meeting the minimum enrolment requirement.

Limited Seats – A maximum capacity of 20 students per activity. Seats are subject to availability.

The Art Academy reserves the right to change or offer an alternative timing should the maximum no. of seats be filled.

Classes missed during the camp will not be rescheduled or refunded.

The timetable is fixed and shall not be rearranged.

Those signing up for the whole month will repeat the activities after two weeks however the creative content will be different. Therefore, in Art, Glass painting will be a repeated activity, however, the design to be painted will be different.

Certificates will be issued only on completion of camp.

By payment of any sum to The Art Academy, you are acknowledging your agreement to the Terms and Conditions as described herein.

PRIVACY NOTICE

Participation in The Summer Camp Program requires you to share both yours and your child’s personal information, including names, pictures, videos, addresses, emails, medical data, and banking data.

The Art Academy will use personal information collected for the purpose of proactive communication and conducting of The Summer Camp Program your child applied for.
